European Management Assistants (EUMA)
Sue is currently the UK National Chairman for EUMA.
EUMA is a pan international not for profit network of management assistants. EUMA, formerly European Association of Professional Secretaries (EAPS), was founded in 1974 and is currently represented in 26 different countries across Europe with affiliate links to international secretarial associations in places like New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and America.
What makes EUMA unique is its pan-European dimension. It is the only European association that offers its members access to a professional network encompassing a vast range of business cultures, languages and lifestyles, whilst at the same time it is a network where everyone will be on common ground, and among friends. We meet up twice a year internationally, twice a year nationally and have regional monthly events.
With the UK being one of the most diverse countries in the world it is vital to any PA’s career to understand the different ways and cultures in which PAs from other countries work, and EUMA UK provides just that opportunity.
The network is run by PAs for PAs on a voluntary basis in our spare time and EUMA members are dedicated to their personal and professional development.
For more information on EUMA please visit www.euma.org and to find out more about the UK EUMA events you can attend and it’s main contacts please go to www.euma.org/unitedkingdom.
Sue would love to hear from you if you are interesting in knowing more about EUMA.
